Foundation Board Announces New Appointments

Effective January 1, 2018, Stephen Saklad, PharmD, BCPP, assumed the responsibilities of the CPNP Foundation Board Treasurer. Voted in by fellow board members, Saklad is currently in his 5^th year of service as Board Member. Dr. Saklad is a clinical professor and the Director of Psychiatric Pharmacy Program at The University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy Division.

Dean Najarian, PharmD, BCPP, was also voted to serve an additional three-year term with the Foundation Board. Najarian is a Medical Science Liaison with Janssen Scientific Affairs, Wrentham, MA, and he has been serving on the Board since 2015.

Also voted into Board service is Christopher Thomas, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP. As the immediate past president for the CPNP Board, Dr. Thomas will finish out his term as CPNP Board Liaison to the Foundation Board and join the Foundation Board as a member-at-large for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2018.
