The existance of the CPNP Foundation is a direct reflection of the selfless dedication of you as CPNP members. The CPNP Foundation is seeking to meet its $50,000 year-end fundraising goal to support this important, ongoing work and is asking for your continued support with a generous donation during our year-end fundraising campaign. Your donation will support the following three areas:
- Research: CPNP Foundation will be increasing the number of Defining the Future Research grants it awards and has just launched a COVID-19 research grant opportunity allowing psychiatric pharmacists to showcase the impactful ways they are caring for individuals living with mental illness during the pandemic.
- Education: Arming psychiatric pharmacists and trainees with the most current knowledge and best practices is essential to improved patient outcomes and in reducing stigma. In 2021, CPNP Foundation will invest even more in training our future workforce by providing registration support to Virtual CPNP 2021 for pharmacy students and residents.
- Practitioner Development: A new world requires new tools. Aligned with that philosophy, CPNP Foundation will be supporting innovative training solutions to help practitioners adapt and prepare for an increasingly virtual world as psychiatric pharmacists.
- Our Communities: Making a local impact is critical to showcasing the value of the psychiatric pharmacist. With 54 CPNP student chapters in our arsenal, CPNP Foundation will be working with CPNP Student Committee to award grants to CPNP student chapters seeking to engage in projects making a difference at the local level.
